The Mazda2 comes powered by a 1.5-liter inline-4 that revs smoothly and nearly eagerly to its 6300-rpm redline. Mazda’s using the same venue to begin its 2011 Mazda 2 into the New Earth. Mazda finally provided any theoretical information at the New York auto show on Wed.
Different the Fiesta, the Mazda2 will exclusive be forthcoming as a four-door hatchback (a sedan is oversubscribed in remaining markets), and testament be transistorized with a 1.5-liter I-4 in lieu of the revised 1.6-liter four-cylinder making its way into the Fiesta. Mazda hasn’t released inalterable noesis figures for the engine, but if it’s confusable to the European-spec travel, expect product to be somewhere within the neighborhood of 112 hp and 103 lb-ft of torque.
Ultimate specifications and pricing have yet to be released, but face for the Mazda2 to come at dealers in the season of 2010.
